The Sun is Setting on 2023Have you come out to Origin this year? Only 5 weekends remain of our 2023 Season! Ask any farmer - this has been a wonderful year for growth. Plenty of rain and relatively mild temperatures in July and August gave us luscious root crops (thank you Mellowfields Farm), sweet corn (thank you Voight Farm), hot & flavorful peppers (thank you LCG Farm), and our very own squash, okra, blackberry, peach, pepper, tomato and potato crops. As Fall sets in, our weekly changing menus are featuring crisp apples (from Snow’s Produce), pungent turmeric (from Moon on the Meadow), hearty greens (from Wild Hollow), and earthy mushrooms (from Sunhillow and Wakarusa Valley Farms) - all gracefully balanced by fresh grains (from Stone and Sparrow), our own pastured poultry and pork, and farm-made beverage pairings. As always, we extend our gratitude to all of the farmers who contribute to our weekly changing menus, and to each of you for keeping this fire burning!
